Dr. Vincent J. Carbone is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate and New York State Licensed Behavior Analyst. He received his graduate training in behavior analysis at Drake University and a doctorate in education from Nova-Southeastern University. He currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Penn State University and previously taught in the graduate programs in Behavior Analysis at the European Institute for the Study of Human Behavior, in Parma, Italy, and at the Medical School at the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy. His behavior analytic research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of the Experimental Analysis of Behavior, Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, The Analysis of Verbal Behavior, Behavior Modification, and others. He has provided the requisite university training to hundreds of board certified behavior analysts in the U.S. and overseas. He is the 2017 recipient of the "Jack Michael Outstanding Contributions in Verbal Behavior Award" from the Association for Behavior Analysis International's Verbal Behavior Special Interest Group. Currently, he serves as the director of the Carbone Clinic in London, UK. The clinic provide behaviour analytic consultation, training and therapeutic services to children and young adults with autism and developmental disabilities. The Carbone Clinic is the 2022 recipient of the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA) award for "International Dissemination of Behavior Analysis". Dr. Carbone currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the B.F. Skinner Foundation.
Sukhdev is a director for the Carbone Clinic with responsibilities
for finance and operations. He has 25 years’ experience in
consulting, banking and entrepreneurship and has helped start a
number of companies in various sectors including education,
healthcare, real estate, agriculture, financial services,
technology and textiles. He has worked with a number of
entrepreneurs to coach and mentor the development of their
businesses and develop business cases to help raise financing.
Sukhdev has a unique blend of skills developed from two very
different backgrounds. He has two degrees in IT, is a computer
programmer, and has a number of years of experience in IT and
operations. He also has an MBA with a concentration in finance, is
a CFA, and has worked in banking and venture capital for numerous
years. The combination of the two allows him to build operations
and also understand the governance, accounting and finance issues
raised in businesses.
Sukhdev is a CFA charter holder, has an MBA with top honours from
Columbia Business School in New York, an MSc from The London
School of Economics, a BSc (Hons) from Aston University in
Birmingham, a BSc (Hons) from Oxford Brooks University, and an
advanced diploma in accounting from the ACCA.
Carole is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), UKBA (cert) and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the State of New York. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Cardiff University; a Diploma in The Education of Children with Special Educational Needs from The North East Wales institute of Higher Education; a Masters in Educational Psychology from Manchester University and a Masters in Child Psychology from Nottingham University.
Carole began her career teaching in a primary school in Wales
prior to pursuing further training and practicing as an
Educational Psychologist. Towards the end of her 6 year career as
an educational psychologist, Carole's career in behavior analysis
began through providing instruction and supervision to home and
school-based programs using B.F. Skinner’s Analysis of ‘Verbal
Behavior’ under the supervision of Dr. Carbone. Through extensive
training and mentorship with Dr Carbone, Carole became certified
as a BCaBA in 2002 and a BCBA in 2013.
Carole began working as an Associate of Dr Carbone in 2001
carrying out behavioral assessments and planning individualized
intervention programs for learners (children and adults) with
autism and other disabilities. When the Carbone Clinic opened in
New York in 2003 Carole began working as an outreach consultant
for Dr Carbone. Carole has had the opportunity to provide
consultation services, assist Dr Carbone in training and run
workshops in the UK, USA, Italy and France. Carole carried out
research and published with Dr Carbone in the journal ‘Behavior
Modification’ a peer reviewed scientific journal (Roxburgh &
Carbone 2013).
